POETRY, POEM AND  A POET

You are welcome here my friend. This page is my Home of Poetry. I love poetry so much as if it's the food that I eats when am hungry. It serves me right when am with a book and a pen that I have a mind filled with the feeling of writing. The word is a food for my hunger, that's what am trying to say. I will write and yet write again. What is more than being alone and taking time to think about yourself. Let me tell you this, if you have nothing so special doing, get some books and read as it will heal you off your affiliations. A friend of mine use to say, " a poet can take his pain and turn them into his gains" and this is just right as I know. You can forget your burdens when you start to read an article maybe a short story, a tale, myth, a poem or anything else that will make you feel no way. You can also listen to some musics rocking on the background while you read. It gets well with those who have some time for reading. This is how I have welcomed you to my World Of Poetry. Read my poems and tell me how you feel right inside the comment box. I love criticism so much. You are welcome once again to my World Of Poetry. You can also read my articles at Allpoetry.com. Everyday the passion grows higher for writing.               Just click here....

My Dear Mother

Posted by Amu Simon on Saturday, March 5, 2011, In : Dedication

My Dear Mother

I love you my dear Mother.
And I bless you my lovely Mother.
You were the only one there for me.
When I have but nobody.
To look at or talk to.
Mama! From you womb,
I got all my nourishment.
For those nine months.
After which you nurtured me.
Till I know who I am.
Mama! May your soul rest in peace.

You were loving and very caring.
No one is there to replace you.
Who cared for me as a child.
That I may grow and be somebody.
Who will care about you in the fut...

Oh Death!!!

Posted by Amu Simon on Saturday, March 5, 2011, In : Miseries

Oh Death!!!

How wicked you are.
You have but no mercy for people.
You takes people's life anytime you please.
And you makes children orphans.
You are always careless,
That you kills the rich as well as the poor.
Your visit is always unexpected.
Women, you makes widows and men, widowers.
In families, you left sorrows.
Plans and dreams,
You brutally destroys.
You are a great destroyer.
Oh Death! You are too wicked.

Friendless

Friendless

I really envy those who have friends.
Who are always delighted in their company.
As in times of loneliness,
They have someone to talk to.
Unlike me,
Who is without a friend.
That I might call onto when I need someone.
But am rather always alone.
Oh! How I wish I have a friend.

Friendless is a disease.
As friends are made to be there.
In times of troubles and difficulties.
Friends are comforters.
And they cares about each other.
It's not friendly to be fightin...

My Best Friend

My Best Friend

In my whole life,
I’ve got so many friends.
But my mother is my best friend.
Despite the fact saying.
That your best friend could be worst enemy,
In no case was she my enemy.
Ah! Why and how?                                    ...

Those Pains

Posted by Amu Simon on Saturday, March 5, 2011, In : Miseries

Those Pains

Yes! Here I come again.
With those dry voices of pains.
From those recent slain.
As there isn’t any gain for those pains.

Sometimes, I think and wonder,
How brutally I lost my mother.
Who taught me to fear the FATHER.
That’s to make my life brighter.

There is sudden death ever...
