POETRY, POEM AND  A POET

You are welcome here my friend. This page is my Home of Poetry. I love poetry so much as if it's the food that I eats when am hungry. It serves me right when am with a book and a pen that I have a mind filled with the feeling of writing. The word is a food for my hunger, that's what am trying to say. I will write and yet write again. What is more than being alone and taking time to think about yourself. Let me tell you this, if you have nothing so special doing, get some books and read as it will heal you off your affiliations. A friend of mine use to say, " a poet can take his pain and turn them into his gains" and this is just right as I know. You can forget your burdens when you start to read an article maybe a short story, a tale, myth, a poem or anything else that will make you feel no way. You can also listen to some musics rocking on the background while you read. It gets well with those who have some time for reading. This is how I have welcomed you to my World Of Poetry. hard rock

I can feel it always
Your strikes for my downfall
Sometimes, it hits me hard in the head
And strips me with hot iron bar
Yet! Strong I ever remain
Tough against your resistances
And ever ready to face you
  BecauseI am a hard rock
Breaking all the barriers
From destitution into hopefulness
From warring into prevailing peace
Can you hear what am saying?
Do believe or not
I am a hard rock

If not for love

If not for my love

The love from deep within

The love for you

And the love for me

What might happened?

Might the sun cease to shine?

Or the moon never would bright?

Would the wind not blow?

Or the rain never will fall?

 

Think if not

That we sees like the blind

Heard like the deaf

And kept silence as the dump

What could have happened?

If not that you were there?

When mummy left us

As dad, we don't even know

I am always wondering

If not that I was born

Or that I am a girl instead?

I wonder how it might be

And that's why I asked

What if not...........?

Forget your troubles

Never remember your pains

Forget about your miseries

And never recall the bad times

Forget your sickness

And stop the crying

Forget your mistakes

And never be disloyal

Forget about the worries

And look forward for the blessings

Forget the humiliations

And never step away from righteousness

Forget about being a failure

For your time shall surely come

Forget your troubles

And listen to the natural mystics

Forget about everything

Because things shall never be the same

Just forget your troubles

For they are less a burden to bear

Forget about taking revenge

And save the world

Feeling Depressed

Missing image

Let not our agony of tears

Rule our ideology of hope

But rather our faith in trying

Dominate our entire living

So that by and by

We may also see real freedom

And hold the swards of peace

Cutting across every direction

 

         HUMBLE       LION 

 

Should our failure to win

Be the end of our lives?

Or must we always revenge

Raiding innocent souls all the while?

Why not forgive and forget?

As the saying always pertains

I know love can do this very well

And so the urge is, love one another

 

          HUMBLE       LION 

 

Come closer, get stronger

Work harder, get better

Trod higher, get deeper

Yes! These are the words

Coming straight from my heart

Labor Without Bread

She was a farmer
And sowed ten seeds
Three of them died prematurely
She was nurturing the rest
With hope and faith to win
But as she was not looking
And before she begin to harvest
Killers raided and took her precious life
Making her labor fruitless
Oh! How she wished to enjoy this bread
The bread of her hard labor
Ahh! It's very very painful
To labor without enjoying the bread

Why not come together?

Together as one

As in the interest of the creator

Together we can make it better

Unity is strength

United we stand

And divided we fall

Then why not come together

As was in brother Luck's dream

Whoever you are

Wherever you come from

The human creation must unite

So as to make things just right

Queen Of My Heart

As fast as running the train

Even so faster is running my love

My love for this empress

And as there's nothing else

That can share the train's path with ti

So there is no one to share my love with you

 

Praise the Lord forever

I have found my queen today

Who ever shall rule my heart

For so means true love

She is the queen of my heart

And the lover of my world

 

Something makes me afraid

As lover, I have never been

But the same applies to her

As she proclaimed she never knew love

But now I have understood

We were mean to each other

 

So I asked my queen and said

How best can I love you?

Into my ears silently she whispered

Do to me what you expect from me

Yes! I will treat you with care

For same way, I ask from you

 

So now I know

I have found real love

And I will make her my queen

The queen of my heart

And the mother of my wards

What a sweet love!

 

Hardly could I believe myself

As if it's a dream or something else

Then she said

It's a reality love show

I love her so much

For together, we are predestined

 

I can testify this 100 times

That there is no love comparable

To lost but found rib

She is a divine gift from above

And she is the queen of my heart

And the light to my path

 

She is perfectly my next half

And so we fixed as fitted

Forming that complete shape

That shape of heart

Which signifies true love

 

Yes! She is my queen

And she is a gift from above

So you see, this is more than just love

She is but  my everything

From joy through sorrow to death

She is the queen of my heart

Good things must be done always

Bad things are not to be done ever

Love never dies

Let lovers live a loving life

Our Leaders

Oh Africa!
I am sorry for everything
Just sick and tired of hearing
Those innocent voices crying out
Why should one man want it all?
We were fed up with colonialism
So our liberty we seek for
Why now that we are free
And our leaders seems to be puppets
That knows not much
What to do and how to do it
So they treat us anyhow they like
Some of them have big bellies
Which is really unsatisfiable
So they are always wanting
Yet! Never getting all
I want to ask
If those of them like Lauran Gbagbo
Of La-Cote Devoir
Are not feeling sorry
How people are suffering
All for their bad deeds
Please we need peace and love
So with due respect to you our leaders
Sow this seed and nurture them to grow
And just be good leaders
Giving way to others also
To help make things right and better
Yes! To you our leaders I am calling

When you were away
I calls on the phone
When you picked
And I hear your voice
I feels something within
Like a broken part mended
Or like a lost but found soul
Yes! When you are not there
I feels like crying
All this is because
I have missed your love
A smile like the blue bay
And a touch like a blessing
That touch
That lights up my path
And makes me feel right
Then makes the work done
I want it again
Now that you are back

Oh! There is no help

Though we are hopeful

It seems we are enemies

To whoever that may help

And that's why everyday

Though we are trying harder

To make both ends meet

It's not like that

But down at the bottom

We are still existing

Where is the help?

The help that makes it better?

Why can't we render this hand?

The hand that helps

From the heart that loves

There is no help anywhere

And the poor are even losing

What little they kept hold of

Yet! The rich have more to spend

And still wanting more again

Please Help!

The world need help

The children, the boys and the girls

The nations and the masses

Among all the brothers I have
From Bernard through Ramsey to Philemon
Brother Albert is the best of all
He is a man of wisdom
And a brother of togetherness
Loyalty and kindness are his game
And love is his name
He is a good brother
One who endures pains while hoping for the best
Mama used to talk about him always
And now that she is away
I have come to realize
What a good brother he is

Don't care whatever you say

I was on the run
Searching everywhere for her
As if she is nowhere to be found
It seems she was running
Like fugitive to save her life
Hope to see her soon
Even though it seems like a mock

I kept searching with a vow

Till I find Grace my only sister
Praise the Lord
Finally, I found her

I am a son to my Father
A servant to His Throne
And under His shield of protection

Therefore I stand on the hard rock

And so, I am not afraid

Never am I terrified or discouraged
That's why I tell my enemies
Oh! You are going to achieve vanity
Because you work but for only iniquity
